C/FX

C/FX is a unique fiber layer consisting of Carbon and Flax woven together, running tip-to-tail. It combines the incredible strength, stability and minimal weight of carbon fiber with the increased level of dampening and vibration absorption of the flax. It’s patented and exclusive to Salomon.

Hard snow performance

A combination of Salomon’s patented C/FX Technology and TI laminate under foot increases power transmission and improves hard snow performance.

Terrain adaptation

The patented use of flax in the C/FX layer provides excellent dampening properties, so the ski perfectly adapts to every terrain on the mountain.

Maneuverability

The C/FX reinforcement extends edge-to-edge under the foot and tapers down towards the tip and tail balancing stiffness, so you are equipped for all snow conditions.
